Becoming Fearless

I find few things more exciting than a good "Ah-ha" moment, and it doesn't even matter what the revelation concerns. All that matters is that it happened and it's essentially the most exciting thing that is going on in your life at the current moment.
The current moment
Think about that for a minute. For anyone who knows me, I'd much rather be off cliff jumping on an island somewhere warm and far away, than sitting here studying in the snow, but the fact of the matter is that I am sitting here studying in the snow, and I'm okay with it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have dreams or ambitions or chase them until your heart is content, but I am saying that you should make peace with what you have at the current moment. When you do, everything gets a little brighter.
Live in the moment- the current moment
My most recent moment of ah-ha came as soon as I started critically thinking and analyzing the way I was thinking. Seems weird, right? Someone said something, that made me think something, that essentially ended up making me think about the way I think, and why I think that way. The "why" is the key. So many people just have thoughts and accept them as is, or as uncontrollable, but the fact is that thoughts have to come from somewhere, so just "why" and "how" do your thoughts specifically form?
When you push aside everything that everyone is telling you to do, and just live, your thoughts start to make sense. There are no contradictions in them anymore. Yes, it is nice to take advice into consideration, but at the end of the day you have to just do you. I think people forget that and try inadvertently to be something they don't want to be. Forget the person who told you that you weren't good enough, or that you couldn't do it, and just be fearless.
Live in the moment- the current moment- and be fearless
When it came down to it, a lot of the thoughts that I analyzed stemmed from fear. The even more interesting thing is that it was a fear that I wasn't even consciously aware of from a day to day standpoint. I'll consider myself a perfectionist when I do specific tasks, but subconsciously the fear of not being perfect has been influencing simple day-to-day actions as well.
Post ah-ha moment, everything got so much simpler. It's now a matter of not over-thinking things, and simply just doing them. I could go on for days about this topic, but my point is that people need to stop living passively and just accepting things as they are. No, I don't want to start a rebellion or anything like that, but challenge yourself. Try to figure out why you are like you are and what it is that makes you tick. Learn about yourself. You'll be surprised at how differently you approach life.

What You Need To Know About Managing Your Time

All over the world people run out of time each day because they don't understand proper time management. If you are one of these people, or maybe you would just like to get better at it, don't worry because the following article is for you. There are many proven strategies for good time management, and you can read about them below.
If you want to improve yourself, consider keeping a to-do list. This will help keep you organized and manage your time wisely. It can cover the most important tasks that you have, or you can micromanage every event in your life. It really does not matter. Having a to-do list is a great way to manage your time.

When time is tight, start setting limits on how long it takes you to do things. For example, rather than browsing the Internet when you have to check email, just allow yourself five minutes to read and respond to your messages. Cut out the excess, stop wasting time and keep yourself on schedule.

If you're always pressed for time, start trying to be early for everything. If you aim to be on time, even a little traffic can mess up your entire schedule by making you late. However, when you do your best to be early, you are often left with a little extra time, which you can then put to good use!

When you find yourself constantly late and missing deadlines, consider getting a bigger clock and putting it in a place where it stares you down all the time. Studies show that when people can see a clock during the day, they mentally gravitate toward more time-saving efforts! Try this at home and the office to better manage your time.

The first 30 minutes of the start of your day should be used for planning the entire day. Do not begin your day until you have completed a plan that includes the times that everything is to be done. You can consider this time block used for scheduling your day one of the most important times of your day.
Get your priorities in order. You would be surprised by how much of your day can be taken up by unimportant tasks. This pushes the more important things back and that could lead to a host of issues. If you find it helpful, make a list of what is most important and work your way down the list.

Don't dismiss the simplicity of a simple pocket sized planner with pages for you to write in appointments, birthdays, lists and other important things. People tend to rely too much on electronic gadgets to help them manage their lives but paper and pen can often be the most effective way to organize your thoughts.

If you need peace and quiet to manage your time better, consider hanging up some do not disturb signs. A few simple signs, especially in a busy office environment, can alert those around you that your time is currently off limits. It's not at all rude to put up these signs. In fact, most people will appreciate the hard work that you are doing.

Have a sit-down with yourself daily. The first half hour of your day is about strategy. You should build a list of priorities that balances your day. Do not overwhelm the list with more than your day can handle. If it is not a priority for today, consider it for tomorrow's list and focus on higher priorities.

Give yourself a goal time for each task in your day. Be realistic as you delegate your time. Set the times that you should finish each task by and do your best to stick to it. Do not feel rushed if time becomes an issue, since lesser priorities are scheduled later in the day.

As stated in the above article, time management is a simple skill to learn when you are dedicated to following certain proven strategies. Make sure you put the things you learned in the above article to good use, and get started right away. Soon enough you will see how simple it is to accomplish all the things you set out to do each day.

How To Stop Caring What Others Think About You

Don't think too much
When you think you're being judged by the others, you're probably wrong. It's not easy to judge each and every person you see or meet and also keep in mind that people have their own worries, they don't have the time or desire to search for other people's flaws as well. You can test this by doing something differently and observe their reaction. Your friends or family would probably notice, but others just won't care.

Give yourself a High Five
Learn to catch yourself each time you're worrying about what others think. Remember the pattern of over-thinking and every time you do it, give yourself a compliment. That will boost your self-esteem just when it's needed to. When such moment occurs, give yourself a High 5, complimenting an aspect of your personality. Target the same thing or detail that you think people judge you about. For example: If you think that people judge you because of your loud laughter, try something like this: "I'm a happy person by nature and I'm trying to share laughter with others, which is always a good thing". See what I mean? Try to transform your over-thinking moment into a positive one.

Accept your uniqueness
Accepting yourself is not the easiest thing in a world to do. We all have our doubts and fears, but the important thing is how to manage them. When confronting with your self-doubts, this advice can help you in the process. First of all, you should write down the things you don't like about yourself. Now, take a closer look and see, if you can change them. Most things can be changed, but the main thing to remember here is your willingness to change. For example, if you want to lose weight, all you need is a little knowledge and a lot of determination. But it can be done much easier than you might think.
There are also some things that can't be changed, such as being taller. However, think the other way. Situation could be worse, right? Right. Accept things you cannot change and change those things you can change. Don't think about things you can't change, because that's just a waste of time. Besides, as the time passes by, you'll learn that some of those things aren't that important at all.
So, what have you learned here? I hope you've learned that people usually don't care as much as you think they do. You've learned that many things can be changed with a little determination and positive thinking. But most importantly, you've learned that the only opinion that really matters by the end of the day, is yours.

Turning On The Positive, Turning Off The Negative

If you choose to use the negative subconscious and this can be in the things you say or think.
I'm having a bad day
I hate this job
My car is a wreck
I'm not happy with my partner
I don't have enough money
All these are negative statements that your subconscious will go to work on because it is so obedient and will deliver more of these things to you.
If you change these statements slightly to make them positive:
I'm having a good day
I like parts of my job
My car gets me from A to B
I intend to be happy with my partner
I have enough money and I'd like more
You will start to get more of them. Its only a case of making a small change to what you say and what you think, you have to remember that what you say and what you think is what you attract.
Being mindful of what you say and what you think is key, because these are the things you will attract more of and if you want to attract more money you have to talk and think that more money is coming your way because that is what you will attract. If you say and think ‘I haven't got enough money that is what you will attract.
If you find yourself thinking ‘I hate my job', noticing it is the first stage and that's good that you have noticed that you have thought a negative thought. If you really do hate your job, find something even if its really small to like about your job. The more things you can find to like about your job, the more things for you to like will appear until eventually you can say ‘I like my job'.
Sometimes if you are having a really bad day you might want to try lying to yourself and pretending your life is very different, I do this a lot. I go into a daydream and imagine I have everything I want, all the money I could possibly need, luxury goods, fancy car, swimming pool, all the usual things that people dream about. And its great to do that because it moves your subconscious to acting into bringing those things to you, and it makes you feel great and gets you out of the bad day syndrome!
Accessing your positive subconscious is very much like building muscle, the more you use it the bigger it gets and the smaller the negative muscle gets. So learn to use your positive subconscious everyday to get the results you want. Don't forget your subconscious is very obedient and it will deliver whatever you ask, you just have to remember that you are asking, by what you say and what you think.
